Startoholics had the opportunity to chat up with this successful startup, here’s a short sneak peek of Dotmach.
To anyone who has never come across Dotmach, how would you describe it?
Dotmach is a Cloud based Work Management Application, it helps teams to work together better by improving the way people communicate, collaborate and share contents to have a great & structured data at workplace and get great things done.
What motivated this Startup?
The frustration you feel while switching from one application to another application to manage a proper workflow is agitating. Of course, a lot of companies are in the same market, yet none could build a perfect solution. People are still looking for a good work management tool which is simple and yet powerful to manage a structured and organized work flow.
How do you differentiate from your competitors?
First of all speed, simplicity, a better and structured workflow – With these criteria in mind we built Dotmach ground up. And another thing is, if you are using Dotmach, then you don’t need to use multiple applications for Enterprise Social Network, Collaborative Platform, Project Management, Content Sharing and Management etc. We bring all this into a single hub in a simple and easy way. Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success.
Who do you see as your target audience?
We are Concentrating on Startups, Small and Medium Scale companies now.
Has Dotmach got the feedback and growth you expected since launch?
We launched Dotmach 3 weeks back, the traction and feedback we are getting now is positive. So Yes, Dotmach is trying to keep up with our expectation.
How involved are you with fundraising?
We are completely bootstrapped till now and until we reach a certain traction, we would like to keep it in that way.
How do you plan to monetize Dotmach?
We follow a SaaS based distribution model. So Dotmach’s revenue is from paid subscription.
Have you had any failures and what did you learn from them?
This is not my first startup, I failed multiple times. And Yes Of Course I learned a lot from them. My favourite lesson was “Passion Never Fails”

What are you most excited about at the moment?
At this moment I am really excited by the feedback we are getting for Dotmach from my happy customer base, it does suggest that Dotmach is really on its hunt to abolish the frustration of using multiple applications to manage team workflow.
What more do you wish to include to take Dotmach the next level?
Our main focus is to keep it simple. In the next 2 to 3 months, we are planning to launch Mobile Apps and also improve the communication part of Dotmach better by adding Audio, Video Support.
Where do you see Dotmach after 5 years?
We’ve only started to scratch the surface and we have a long journey ahead. I would like to see Dotmach as a well reputed and reliable application which can solve all the enterprise issues even inside an MNC.
Can you convince the reader to start using Dotmach in under 50 words?
With Dotmach, you can bring your team and the work resources to a single place for communicating, collaborating and content sharing, thus have a better structured workflow to get work done faster.
