Dronna is a crowd sourced platform built on trust and influence that not only helps you find useful and reliable information but also personalizes and prioritizes it for you based on from whom the information is coming so that you can make faster, well informed decisions. Dronna understands the human psychology of decision making and how trust and influence are critical when it comes to certain things for which you need some level of recommendation.
Dronna is a B2C internet product built by PsiPhi Labs (Technologies. Pvt. Ltd.)
Vikas Singh started working on the idea last year. He did a lot of ground work and at the same time laid the foundation of a strong team. Earlier this year with Abhigyan joining the core team and taking charge of the mobile development, and Navarjun returning back as the core designer, after his internship with Dronna last year, together they finally kick started the real product development.
They officially got incorporated recently (as PsiPhi Labs Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) while they were a part of Kyron accelerator’s 1st cohort batch.
Dronna’s team comprises of Vikas Singh, the Founder/CEO and two other key employees in the core team- Abhigyan Raghav and Navarjun Singh.
Vikas has been in the technology research industry for more than 9 years. Before starting his entrepreneurial journey, Vikas worked at McAfee as a senior research scientist. He also invented his own wireless communication system at the age of 21. He has a special skill to attract the right kind of talent, and inspire people to dream big and team up to achieve it.
Abhigyan is a techie and takes care of anything and everything related to Mobile development. He can build apps in all the three environments, i.e. Android / iOS / Windows mobile app with equal ease. He has just the right skills an ambitious start up needs in its early key employees.
Navarjun is a computer engineer by profession but a UX designer at heart and never stops to impress with his design skills even at this young age. He completes the trio team giving it a good balance between business, technology and design.
Based out of Bangalore and they have recently been selected as one of NASSCOM’s Startup-Warehouse, Bangalore teams.
It’s all in the Name…
Vikas stumbled upon the name “Dronna” last year while he was doing research and ground work. For the team, the name “Dronna” symbolizes a teacher, someone who imparts knowledge, information and wisdom; and that’s exactly what their vision is behind this product. They envision Dronna as an intelligent system that gets its power from the crowd sourced intelligence and knowledge of all the people together.
How does it work?
Dronna tries to prioritize the information and experiences being shared by people, based on from whom the information is coming and how much do you trust that person in real life. Dronna divides the information and experiences under three categories of Trusted, Social and World…based on the trust/influence and relevancy factor. This way your more important information, coming from more important people will be always easy to access.

They are targeting focussed groups for whom finding reliable day to day information is not only important but difficult too.
Their initial target customer segment includes people who have the following key attributes behaviour:
– Frequent decision makers / high influencers
