Ask a woman about her first love and don’t be surprised if it isn’t a man’s name but instead something like Jimmy Choo or Louis Vuitton or Chanel or Gucci! Women and their love for shopping goes a long way. Leave a woman alone in a store and you are sure she’ll come out with a bagful of purchases and yes this comes from someone equally crazy about shopping. It is this craziness for shopping that leads them to make unnecessary purchases emptying their wallets and taking up more space in their rooms. It wouldn’t be astonishing to find more stuff in a girl’s room than in the store! People are confused while shopping and they need help in discovering and buying the right stuff.

Baggout is the Collection of Best Products available online which are liked and bought by your Friends. Baggout is your online store that helps you create a personalized list of products based on what your friends are buying online. It helps you discover great products through the choices your super stylish friends are making.

Baggout has been started by Prashant and Deepak. Deepak is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Roorkee and he has experience of working for a private equity fund and a startup prior to co-founding Baggout. Prashant is the CTO and has prior experience of starting up ventures in the US. He was working as a Software Architect in US prior to co-founding Baggout.

“It was a matter of both of us striking the right idea to start a venture; we are childhood friends and were thinking of starting up for quite some time now. The idea of Baggout looked right and we took the plunge.” adds Deepak

While Baggout has received tremendous response since its launch, the founders feel that the number at which they are gaining users is brisk. New concepts take their own time to snake its way into the users mind. So while Baggout is getting a decent number of registrations everyday they wish to see the scale inching upwards. However, the hardest part of the job is to scale up efforts and build the right team to execute the business.

A bootstrapped venture that comes from their own funds; their main channels of marketing are Facebook, blogs and a number of websites that Baggout partners with. With all this in their kitty, the Baggout team is ready to climb up and extend the olive branch to interested partners.

The next feature they wish to include in the venture is cash back on products that users buy through Baggout. This feature is expected to be out by next month. Along with this a plan to expand the technical team is in motion.

Inspired by Steve Jobs and Paul Graham, Deepak feels that the most effective way of getting clients is to honestly add more value to their business than you are charging them.

“We are still too young to have realized whether we have made any big mistake. There is no perfect time to get started so just take the plunge and things will take care of themselves.” says Deepak

We all admire the shoes she wore at the party or that dress she flaunted at the office meeting or that elegant watch he showed off the other day and what not we wish to have our hands on! Baggout makes that so very easy, it’s now possible to keep an eye on what’s hanging in your friend’s wardrobe.  Put a stop to those unnecessary purchases you make during each shopping trip, try Baggout and for a change let your wallet be full.
